Main Roads has advised the transport industry that following the introduction of new road transport legislation on 27 April 2015, there are changes that will affect accreditation payment cycles. These payments will now be required in full ($225) at the time of application or renewal.
From April 27 2015, transport operators who are part way through their audit cycle, will continue to make yearly payments until such time as a re-entry audit is required, then the payment will be required in full. For example:
Payment made: $75-00 1 June 2014
Payment due: $75-00 1 June 2015
Payment due: $75-00 1 June 2016
Payment due: $225-00 1 June 2017
